What Can Change in a Day

Hey everyone, I wanted to share with you what happened to me recently. I had been feeling really tired and just not like myself, so I went to see a heart doctor. They did some tests and found out that I had blockages in two of my arteries, one of which was the “widowmaker” artery with a 90% blockage!

My doctor recommended bypass surgery as the best option, and a heart surgeon was brought in. I had the surgery the very next day, and I have to tell you, I was pretty nervous going in. But the medical team was amazing and took great care of me.

I woke up a few hours later feeling groggy and sore, but also relieved that the surgery was over. The recovery process is tough, and I had to take it easy for a while. But with the help of my doctors and my family, I will get through it and start feeling better.

I’m so grateful to have caught this issue early and to have gotten the treatment I needed. It’s a challenging journey, but I’m feeling more like myself every day and I’m excited to get back to my normal activities soon. I hope that sharing my story can encourage others to listen to their bodies and take care of their heart health! Day eleven after surgery. I am Doing good and feeling lots better

Remember to help make someone you around Happy and make them smile.
